What to expect
Whether you’re a complete beginner or someone with experience looking to refine your skills, each lesson is tailored to suit your individual goals, pace, and style of learning.
Understanding that every student is different, some prefer a visual approach, others learn by listening, playing, or breaking things down step by step. Bill’s teaching style adapts to what works best for you. We focus on building solid technique, understanding rhythm, and diving in deep to the structure of Greek music, from scales and “dromoi” to traditional and modern repertoire. We’ll work through songs that suit your level and taste while developing the skills to play with both accuracy and feeling.
Lessons are hands on, structured but relaxed, and built around your musical interests. Whether your goal is to play socially, perform, or simply connect with your heritage, I’ll help you build the foundation and confidence to get there. You’ll also get access to supporting resources like printed notes, audio examples, and video recordings of exercises or sections we cover in your lesson so you can keep progressing between sessions.
